Cat Machine Security System

Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized usage with this optional security feature. Electronically coded MSS keys let you set time parameters for machine use and limit access to prevent unnecessary wear and tear to your investment. Traditional Cat keys will not start the machine when Cat Machine Security System is enabled.

Each Machine Security System electronic key contains a unique identification number. The MSS electronic control module checks the inserted key against a pre-approved list of keys you have authorized. If the key is on the list, the equipment can be started and operated. If the key is not on the list, all critical machine functions are stopped.
