Top-of-line models, like the Cat D550 GC (550 kW) and Cat D600 GC (600 kW), feature a Cat C18 ACERT in-line six, four-cycle diesel engine. The lower-energy models, like the Cat D250 GC (250 kW) and Cat D300 GC (300 kW), utilize a Cat C9 ACERT in-line six, four-cycle diesel engine.
